La Crema was founded in 1979 as "La Crema Vinera." Loosely translated, this means "the best of the vine." This has always been the vision of this renowned winery. The winery is located in the Russian River Valley, part of Sonoma County, just over an hour's drive from the metropolitan San Francisco. The winery is stunning to behold, with its use of natural materials. Over the years, La Crema has acquired more and more vineyards in some of Sonoma County's most beautiful locations.
