Many wineries that produce Barolo wine have a centuries-old history. They have been making Barolo wine for generations, using a classic, trusted method for decades. However, in the late 1970s, three friends decided to take the plunge. Brothers Franco and Carlo Pontiglione and Giuseppe Priola founded a unique winery. It is located in Verduno, just a few minutes' drive north of the famous village of Barolo.

The Bel Colle vineyards are located in the Monvigliero region. This is widely considered one of the finest Barolo subregions. Not only is the quality excellent, but the view is also definitely worth a visit.
