Near the city of Anjou, you'll find Domaine d'Avrille. This estate is housed in an 18th-century chateau. However, the winery wasn't founded until much later, in 1938. Eusebe Boitteau began producing wine on his estate that year. Purely driven by his love of wine, his successful wines came as a great surprise. This success has led to the fourth generation now at the helm of Domaine d'Avrille.

The Domaine d'Avrille vineyards are immense. Not just a few pleasant hectares, but over 200 hectares of magnificent vines. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are renowned in this region, and from these, the deliciously juicy Rosé d'Anjou is made.
