A classic from the French vineyards. A winery operating since the late 19th century in France's largest wine region: Languedoc-Roussillon, Domaine Lasserre is known for its everyday wines. A glass of Domaine Lasserre is always a good choice. Not an overly bold glass, but simply a good wine, with the power of each grape well represented. The French wines of Domaine Lasserre
Domaine Lasserre is a true family business. Since 1898, the family has been producing wine on the property where vines were already planted in Roman times. After major expansions in 1973, the Lasserre estate now encompasses approximately 300 hectares of vineyards. That's a vast area, even by French standards. The vineyards are situated in the rolling landscape around Libron. The climate here is moderate, making it ideal for a wide variety of grape varieties. You'll encounter all the familiar names during a walk through the vineyards: Chardonnay, Viognier, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. There's room for everyone in the vineyards.
