Wente Vineyards, a family-owned winery since 1883, has perfected the art of winemaking for five generations. Our techniques combine the best of traditional and modern approaches, allowing us to produce wines that reflect the unique characteristics of our vineyards. Our Wente Riverbank Riesling, for example, is a blend of 80 percent Riesling and 10 percent Gewürztraminer grapes, creating a captivating bouquet of honey, lychee, and floral notes. Wente Family Estates' recognition as the oldest continuously managed family estate in the United States fills us with pride. Our vineyards stretch from Livermore Valley to San Francisco Bay and Arroyo Seco, Monterey.
