This is undoubtedly the region of Spain for white wine: Galicia. Located near the Portuguese border, this region produces Spain's signature white wine: Albarino Rías Baixas. Its cool climate allows Albarino to thrive and flourish. The Alba Martin winery also boasts some very old vineyards in this area. Alba Martin is part of the powerful Martin Codax winery, a well-known name in the region. It was founded in 1986 by a small group of winegrowers who wanted to put their beloved Rías Baixas region on the map in their own unique way. The adventure began, and years later, it has grown into a global player, with dozens of other winegrowers affiliated.

The old vineyard is in beautiful condition; you can clearly see the involvement of many people, resulting in an excellent harvest. This white Alba Martin wine is made from Albarino grapes that have been growing in the rich soil for decades. They easily absorb moisture, making them well-suited to hot summer afternoons. The fresh ocean breeze provides cooling, helping the Albarino bunches retain their freshness. All bunches are harvested by hand at perfect ripeness. This takes place early in the morning because Alba Martin wants to preserve the freshness of the grapes. And they more than succeeded.

It's a joy to drink! Just open this bottle of Albarino and you'll smell a vibrant aroma of white fruit, apple, and fresh green herbs. In the glass, the wine turns golden yellow with a green sheen. Don't drink it too cold, as it will lose all its beautiful aromas and flavors. The aroma is very lively with nuances of white and citrus fruit, along with hints of peach and vanilla. The palate is beautifully dry and minerally, juicy and fresh, pure elegance, green apples, a hint of citrus, acidity, and a slight tingle in the finish.
