Nube is a unique wine series released by the Leza Garcia winery. It features surprising, contemporary wines, presented in a modern bottle. The name of this series literally means "cloud," which symbolizes airy Rioja wines. This Semidulce certainly embodies this. Delicious tropical fruit with a slightly sweet flavor.
The vineyards of Leza Garcia
Leza Garcia Winery is located in the Rioja Alta, a historic region known for its high-quality wines. The entire family is dedicated to producing high-quality wines. Their grandfather, Juan Leza Arenzana, began in the wine trade in the early 20th century. The family continues this legacy of caring for the land and the tradition of producing the finest wines. They now own approximately 100 hectares and have access to diverse soil structures, allowing them to produce a wide variety of wines. They also focus on modern winemaking techniques, clearly showcasing the terroir.
The Malvasia and Viura grapes are grown in vineyards in Rioja Alta. The vines are deeply rooted in clay and limestone soil, allowing them to develop unique characteristics. At peak ripeness, the grapes are carefully harvested and taken almost immediately to the winery. To extract more flavor, the grapes undergo a cold maceration with their skins in the winery. They are then gently pressed, and fermentation begins. This process takes place at cold temperatures to preserve the natural sugars. After the necessary rest, the wine is bottled.
Enjoy the slightly sweet Nube Rioja Semidulce
This Nube de Leza Garcia Rioja Semidulce is such an aromatic wine. It boasts abundant tropical fruit, with a distinct peach flavor, complemented by slightly spicy notes. The palate is very lively, with fruity notes as well. It's slightly sweet, but not overpowering. This makes the Rioja Semidulce accessible and ideal not only for dessert but also paired with other dishes.
