This fantastic Pierre Zero Chardonnay Sparkling Wine is made in France, where Champagne is also produced. This alcohol-free sparkling wine is produced by Domaines Pierre Chavin, a young winery founded by four friends, all from winemaking families. This explains the wonderful depth and smoothness of Pierre Zero's alcohol-free wines. Using modern techniques, they produce only alcohol-free wines, a specialty of the winery. To match the experience with French Champagne, this alcohol-free sparkling wine is also made with the Chardonnay grape, which also plays a significant role in French Champagne.

The harvest of the Chardonnay grapes

For this alcohol-free "Champagne," only Chardonnay grapes are grown. These grapes are grown in the south of France under the best conditions. The vineyard, which shares many of the characteristics of the Champagne region, produces full, powerful bunches. This is partly due to the location and the subsoil, rich in limestone and gravel. This allows the old vines to easily absorb moisture and nutrients. Once the Chardonnay bunches are ripe, Pierre Zero's winemaker has them brought in early in the morning. This prevents oxidation and bruising during transport.

The best alcohol-free bubbles from Pierre Zero

Once the bunches arrive at the Pierre Zero winery, they are sorted on sorting tables, and only the finest are processed. This Pierre Zero wine then undergoes the same treatment as an alcoholic sparkling wine. Afterward, the alcohol is extracted using a unique and modern centrifuge technique. And yes, that results in a fantastic flavor and aroma! Upon pouring, we see a beautiful bright yellow color with bubbles that are beautifully visible in the glass. On the nose, this Pierre Zero Chardonnay has hints of tropical fruit, complemented by notes of grapefruit, lychee, and roasted nuts. On the palate, the soft bubbles impart a rich flavor of yellow and tropical fruit on the palate. The lovely, refreshing presence of mint and grapefruit makes this alcohol-free sparkling wine a fantastic choice! What a fantastic alternative to Champagne.
