Biscardo's vineyards are located in the heart of Veneto, and the grapes receive the winemaker's undivided attention. A well-known drink in Veneto is Prosecco. It originates in the northeastern part, around the villages of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, and is made from the Prosecco grape. While there are sweet varieties, most Proseccos are dry and either more (spumante) or less (frizzante) sparkling.

The family business Biscardo

The Biscardo winery has been a family business since its founding in 1878. Back then, it was Terenzio who, with a passion for action and courage, built the winery. He is the grandfather of today's owners, Martino and Maurizio. Terenzio began expanding the small winery. He invested in innovative technology and recruited top consultants. He was able to continuously improve the quality of wines like the Morena Bianca Lugana. Thanks to these efforts, he succeeded in making Biscardo's products known worldwide. His two sons learned all the important aspects of the business under their father. Both are trained oenologists and winemakers with extensive expertise. They prove this with the Morena Bianca Lugana, which is of top quality in both taste and quality. The vineyards are located approximately 250 meters above sea level. Harvesting takes place only in the early morning and evening. This protects the grapes from the warm temperatures and prevents fermentation. The workers collect the grapes in small wooden crates.

What does the Biscardo Millesimato Prosecco Spumante taste like?

This Prosecco has a straw-yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers intense notes of peach blossom and nuances of apple. This creation from the cannabis estate is velvety smooth and harmonious on the palate. The finish is quite dry, and the aftertaste is wonderfully aromatic.
