Champagne">Deutz Champagnes are personal favorites of our vintners. Deutz knows exactly what it takes to achieve what makes it beloved among connoisseurs. It's one of the oldest Champagne houses, founded by two immigrants from Germany: William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. In 1838, they had a vision that remains a reality to this day. Creating the finest Champagnes with the finest grapes: the majority of the full bunches still come from premium Grand Cru vineyards, making Deutz Champagne incredibly high.

The Champagne from France

Champagne Deutz was founded in the mid-19th century in the tiny village of Ay, just northeast of the "Champagne Capital" of Reims. While it was a small village back then, it has now grown into a paradise for champagne lovers, boasting numerous prestigious names. The Deutz estate is relatively hidden—behind a high gate—and can only be entered with express permission. The cellars are magnificent and completely authentic: we've unraveled another Deutz secret. Here you'll find countless bottles of Deutz Champagne, aging until they are released from the cellars with the express permission of the champagne producer.

A blend of the three grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, it creates a rich bouquet in which complete notes continuously reveal themselves. With every sip of Deutz Champagne, you're treated to a new set of notes: think toasted bread, marzipan, ripe pears, and a hint of baked apple. The characteristic notes of brioche bread are striking. Unique to Deutz Champagne are the small bubbles, which further demonstrate the craftsmanship of the champagne house.
