The grapes for this wine come from the Upland, Sundance, Art Den Hoed, and Roza Hills vineyards in the Yakima Valley of Washington State. The vineyards are situated at elevations of 200 to 400 meters and have diverse soil structures, creating a wonderful base for this red blend. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and brought to the winery. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. To add some complexity, a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon is added. The blended wine is aged in new French oak barrels to enhance the flavors and aromas.
