This red wine from Château Rahoul comes from one of the richest terroirs in the Graves region. The winery is a member of the select Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux and owns 40 hectares in this fertile region. Made with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, this red wine is exceptionally charming. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot give the wine its power, while the Merlot provides a juicy core.
Hand harvest for Chateau Rahoul Graves Red
The history of Château Rahoul began in 1646, when Chevalier Guillaume Rahoul founded the prestigious estate and gave it his name. Since 2007, the estate has been entrusted to Dourthe. They produce a wide range of wines in the Bordeaux and Languedoc regions. Besides Château Rahoul, they manage six other prestigious estates, which together account for 400 hectares of vineyards. Château Rahoul owns 40 hectares of vineyards throughout the Graves region. This area is rich in gravel, allowing the grapes to ripen early and develop beautiful tannins and acidity. The red wines are exceptionally charming. Sustainability is paramount in all wines, and the wines are produced with respect for nature. The grapes are given time to ripen and are rigorously selected before harvest. Harvesting is then carried out entirely by hand. Afterward, the grapes are transported to the winery, where alcoholic fermentation can begin. The juice then undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months.A structured red wine from Chateau Rahoul
In the glass, the Graves Red presents itself with a beautiful, clear color. A delicate bouquet unfolds with aromas of light vanilla, forest scents, and hints of red fruit. On the palate, it is a well-structured red wine with spicy and mineral notes. A smooth yet complex wine.Product details
