The winery is part of Plaimont, a well-known name in the world of top wines. It's a cooperative in southwestern France with many winegrowers. Together they share knowledge, experience, and opportunities, resulting in the exceptional quality of this white wine, among other things.

The old vineyard in the Cotes de Gascogne

For this white wine from Colombelle, we travel to the beautiful Cotes de Gascogne wine region. Here, Colombard and Sauvignon grapes thrive. This is largely due to the age of the vines. The old vines have deep roots, easily drawing strength and moisture from the rich soil structure. Wine has been grown on these lands for hundreds of years, and we taste that in the purity of this white wine. The fresh breeze from the mountaintops and the strong sunshine contribute to a magnificent harvest.

Upon opening the bottle, we smell a powerful aroma of tropical fruits like pineapple and passion fruit, along with hints of grapefruit and minerals. The aroma is already delightful, but it doesn't stop there. The taste is also exquisite, with nuances of lime, gooseberry, and a touch of passion fruit on the palate at first. These later transform into green herbs and a touch of grapefruit on the palate. What a delightful thirst quencher!
