This beautiful sparkling wine, Veuve du Vernay Brut, is a refreshing sparkling wine. Made from Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay grapes. This combination is exquisite, creating a champagne-like quality for this Veuve du Vernay. The combination of these three grape varieties proved unique, giving this Veuve du Vernay its beautifully refined style and lovely mousse (bubbles). The old winery is located in the heart of Beaune, Burgundy, where they enjoy the French sun. Winemaker Jean-Jacques Hochet knows better than anyone how to make a beautiful sparkling wine at a great price, a true competitor to many Champagnes.

The harvest of the Veuve du Vernay Brut

When the three grape varieties are ripe and have the perfect balance of sugars and acidity, they are harvested. Upon arrival, they are gently pressed, and still white wine is first made. Jean-Jacques Hochet then adjusts the blend's ratio and ferments it again with sugar to create the beautiful bubbles. After a long aging period in the Veuve du Vernay cellars, the sparkling wine is ready to be opened.
