A beautiful Italian red wine from the equally beautiful Veneto region. The blend consists of Corvina, Corvinoe, Rondinella, and Croatino grape varieties. The grapes are grown on limestone and clay soils with a mild climate, allowing them to ripen beautifully in the sunshine. The result is a fruity, harmonious, and smooth wine.

The best blend for Sartori Valpolicella Classico

The Sartori winery is one of the oldest wineries in the Verona region. In 1898, Pietro Sartori purchased a modest vineyard with the goal of providing his hotel guests with fine wine. His son ultimately grew the winery. Investments led to the modernization of the cellar and vineyard, without abandoning tradition. Thanks to their knowledge, passion, and expertise, Sartori has become one of the most important wineries in over 100 years. Together with winemaker Franco Barnabei, they manage the grapes in the vineyard, producing a wide range of wines from classically aged to modern and youthful, and from refreshingly dry to rich and intense. The grapes grow on the hills north of Verona, enjoying a sheltered climate and a long, stable autumn. The grapes are carefully harvested at peak ripeness. To determine ripeness, the grapes are regularly tasted in the vineyards. In the winery, a strict selection process is carried out to achieve the highest quality. The grapes are then gently pressed. Maceration lasts approximately 8 to 10 days and takes place at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in large oak barrels, concrete barrels, or steel barrels.

The supple tannins of Sartori Valpolicella Classico

The Valpolicella Classico is ruby red in the glass and immediately surprises with delicate fruity aromas. Notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum, and garden herbs leap out from the glass. On the palate, this Valpolicella is balanced with juicy fruit, supple tannins, and a pleasant finish.
