I never knew a white Cotes de Rhone could be so beautiful—a wine that will truly surprise you. The Brunel brothers created this white wine to showcase the diversity of the climate, soil, and grape varieties in the beautiful Cotes de Rhone wine region. The four grape varieties are grown on very old vines and, of course, harvested by hand to obtain the purest juice. This white Brunel de la Gardine is not aged in oak because the wine is already naturally very flavorful and creamy.

Château de la Gardine's rich history dates back to the 17th century and was expanded a few years ago with the addition of Brunel de la Gardine, the Château's second line. With this line, the Brunel family aims to market accessible wines with a soft character, suitable for drinking in their youth, while the Château de la Gardine wines are given ample time to mature in the cellar. In any case, the expertise is evident in every wine, along with the respect for the terroir and the characteristic Rhône grapes. This wine comes from vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley and is made from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier, and Bourboulenc grapes. All are grown on a rocky, limestone terroir. After harvest, the grapes are immediately pressed and fermented to preserve maximum freshness. The aroma reveals a broad bouquet of white flowers, lime peel, white peach, and a hint of mint leaves. This fresh style carries over to the palate, which is both fresh and refined.
