This Delas Cote du Rhône White is made from the finest grapes in the region. The grapes grow on the right bank of the Rhône River, where they enjoy the best conditions to reach perfection. The climate is Mediterranean and is influenced by the Mistral wind. This strong wind is the result of a difference in atmospheric pressure between the northern and southern parts of the Rhône Valley. And that is precisely what favors the vine's growth. The result is a perfect white Delas Cote du Rhône.

Quality wine from Delas

The Delas winery was founded in 1835. Fifty years later, it had built a global reputation and won its first gold medals. After World War II, the company invested heavily in vineyard acquisitions to meet the growing demand for wine. And with success. The "Saint-Esprit" is a blend of wines whose fruit comes primarily from the right bank of the Rhône. Grenache blanc Clairette, Bourboulenc, and Viognier are the main grape varieties in the blend. After twenty-four hours of pressing and cold settling, the musts are mashed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of eighteen degrees Celsius. Malolactic fermentation is avoided to preserve the wine's natural balance and freshness, thus enhancing its finesse. The wine is then stored in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Before bottling, the wine is lightly charred and filtered to give it perfect stability.

An exotic yet soft wine from Delas

The final result is a white wine with a golden straw hue and hints of vegetables. The main aromas are reminiscent of white flowers and yellow fruit, followed by notes of exotic and citrus fruits. The palate is attractive with a seductively soft yet refreshing finish.
