Fonvène Ardèche White is produced by Vignerons Ardechois, a wine cooperative founded in the mid-1960s. It's an intensive collaboration between several small winegrowers. By joining forces, they can produce high quality wines. Currently, the vineyards encompass over 6,500 hectares, mostly located in the southern Ardèche region. The grape varieties are heavily inspired by those of its eastern neighbor, the Rhône. Grenache and Syrah, for example, play a significant role.
