Domaine Fredavelle is a true family winery located in the heart of Provence. Ten kilometers northwest of Aix-en-Provence, in the small village of Éguilles, lie the vineyards and the beautiful winery. Domaine Fredavelle boasts just over twenty-two hectares of vineyards planted with local grape varieties. Over the years, the winery has invested heavily in both the maintenance of the vineyards and the winery. This has benefited the quality, and Domaine Fredavelle's wines are now world-renowned. David Ravel and Olivia Menigoz, the owners of this beautiful winery, are in charge of the day-to-day management and complement each other perfectly.
Unique collaboration between two friends in Provence
In 1999, two friends, David Ravel and Olivia Menigoz, founded the winery and harvested their first vintage. It's the culmination of a love of wine, a passion for winemaking, and a wealth of experience. The wines are outstanding, and this Domaine Fredavelle Rose Provence is made from Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. These grow on very old vines cultivated at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. The Domaine Fredavelle vineyards enjoy a Mediterranean climate, with strong sunshine. The cool ocean breeze also contributes to the robust harvest. On the nose, this Domaine Fredavelle Coteaux D'Aix en Prôvence is a delightful explosion of citrus and exotic fruits.
