Champagne, a wine that many consider only for New Year's Eve. Why, then, is the question? Many say they don't actually like Champagne at all because it's sour. Well, Moët & Chandon has found a solution! Indeed, this Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial. By adding more dosage to the bottle, the Champagne acquires a pleasant sweetness. Dosage refers to Liquer de Tirage, a mixture of sugar and yeast cells dissolved in wine. This is added to almost every Champagne. The higher the dosage, the sweeter the Champagne. Due to Moët & Chandon's immense popularity, this is the most famous Demi-Sec Champagne available.
Moet & Chandon Imperial Nectar
With years of experience, the Champagne house, which dates back to 1743, knows exactly what makes a good Champagne. The magnificent cellars, which are also open to visitors, stretch a total of 28 kilometers and reach a depth of approximately 30 meters underground. The main Moët & Chandon building is located on Rue de Champagne in Eperney and, with its stately appearance, is one of the most beautiful buildings on this street. This Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial is made from the three Champagne grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay. All grapes are harvested separately in the various regions of Champagne.Moet & Chandon Nectar is slightly sweet
Vinification is also done separately, with the actual blend being created later. After many months of aging in the beautiful cellars, the Champagne is finally ready to be enjoyed. After tasting this delicious Champagne, we agree that it's not just for New Year's Eve. What a gem this Demi-Sec Champagne is! The color is golden yellow with beautiful, fine bubbles dancing in the glass. The aroma reveals aromas of exotic fruit, candied fruit, honey, and mild spices. The taste is pleasantly slightly sweet with rich and full hints of tropical fruit, honey, and brioche bread. The finish is wonderfully long, slightly sweet, and has a fine, sparkling mouthfeel.Product details
