The 2021 vintage for Mosel white wines has been rated an excellent 90-94 points by Robert Parker. The wines from this year are early maturing and already wonderfully approachable.

A slightly sweeter wine than its brother, Peter & Peter Riesling Trocken, but make no mistake, this is truly a dry wine. It's easy to misunderstand. Especially during the 20th century, the Mosel region became a paradise for sweet white wines, primarily based on Riesling. However, since the 1990s, the tide has turned, and a growing number of serious wineries have emerged, recognizing the region's potential for dry wines. Peter & Peter is one of them, demonstrating with this Riesling Feinherb that quality and Mosel are indeed a golden combination.

The wines of the Moselle

Peter & Peter's vineyards are located in and around the town of Zell, just west of the city of Frankfurt. The grapes for Peter & Peter Riesling Feinherb grow on the slopes of the Mosel. These slopes are characteristic of this region, where the playful Mosel plays a prominent role. Because of these slopes, the wines receive plenty of sunlight, which benefits the growing process. The harvest for Peter & Peter Riesling Feinherb is carried out entirely by hand due to the steep slopes. This ensures strict control, ensuring that only the finest bunches of Riesling grapes are used in this wine.
