The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Jose Pariente's greatest fame is undoubtedly due to its Verdejo wines. But don't underestimate this Sauvignon Blanc. The Sauvignon Blanc grape was first planted in this wine region thirty years ago. The old vines have developed into lush specimens, clearly showcasing Jose Pariente's expertise. The Sauvignon Blanc grape thrives in the warm sun, but also craves refreshing coolness. Fortunately, this need is met by the cooling sea breeze and cool nights that characterize the region. The result is an exotic wine with a delightful mouthfeel.

Harvesting the grapes is always a matter of perfect timing, and this is where Jose Pariente shines with his extensive expertise. As soon as morning breaks and the Sauvignon Blanc grapes reach optimal ripeness, they are harvested with care. Preserving freshness in the wine and minimizing damage to the grapes are paramount. The ripe grapes are transported in small crates to Pariente's press, where they are pressed with a gentle hand. The resulting pure juice is then aged on the lees. Thanks to this method, the Sauvignon Blanc distinguishes itself through its fullness and power.

Upon opening the bottle, a luxurious and aromatic aroma immediately reveals itself, wafting through the neck. The aroma captivates with its exotic fruit notes, mineral nuances, and hints of freshly mown grass. Once poured, the wine truly comes alive. A beautiful, light color shimmers in the glass, and the aroma of exotic fruit, green herbs, fresh grapefruit, and a hint of mint leaves wafts upward. From the first sip, this white Sauvignon Blanc from Jose Pariente captivates. It tantalizes the palate with a refreshing and vibrant character, offering an abundance of white and citrus fruit, tantalizing your taste buds. The finish leaves a lasting impression. This wine is intense, with a taut structure and a long, elegant finish that will leave you savoring it to the fullest.
