Leza García Winery is a true family winery where the quality of its wines is paramount. They have been producing wines since the first half of the 20th century and were confident in their vineyards and working methods. In 1994, the winery took a major step forward, professionalizing its winery and today producing the finest wines with a modern touch. The blend of ancient traditions and modern winemaking techniques quickly resulted in impeccable wines. The family owns its own vineyards in the Rioja Alta, at an altitude of 500-700 meters, which yield an unprecedented harvest. Today, Leza García Winery is known as the star of the wine region, producing the purest wines in the region.

This red wine is made from Grenache, Mazuelo, and Tempranillo grapes grown near Uruñuela. This is where the finest grapes originate, cultivated at an altitude of up to 800 meters. Grapes grown at very high altitudes are used for this wine, making them fuller and more powerful. After being hand-harvested in the Rioja Alta region, where each bunch is inspected, this red wine is aged in oak. American oak barrels are used, with French oak butts. Unique barrels also produce a unique wine, we can tell you. After a period of up to 12 months, the wine is ready and bottled. But the Leza García family believes it's not finished yet. The bottles are aged for another six months in the cellar, and only then is this red wine truly finished. After a long wait, the moment of joy has finally arrived!

Think of notes of black cherries and chocolate, with hints of vanilla and pepper. The palate is teased with hints of black fruit and subtle oak notes. Sip this superb wine for a moment, and you'll also taste hints of spice and fresh plums.
