This rosé is a beautiful example of when exclusivity and elegance come together. With the Ars Collecta, Codorniu celebrates its five-hundred-year tradition. A collection of unique cavas, each awarded the most prestigious prizes. For this rosé, the winery has combined Pinot Noir, Xarello, and Trepat grapes. This makes this rosé wonderfully fresh and balanced.

The best vineyards of Codorniu

Codorniu is one of the oldest family-owned wineries in Spain. For over 460 years, they have dedicated themselves to producing wines and champagnes. They own 10 vineyards in the world's finest wine regions. The Pinot Noir grape for this Rosé comes from Costers del Segre, where a continental climate prevails; the Trepat grape comes from Conca de Barbera, with a continental climate; and finally, the Xarello grape comes from the central Penedes plain, with a Mediterranean climate. Each grape has been able to develop under the best conditions, giving this Rosé a unique calling card. Around the beginning of August, the grapes for Ars Collecta Rosé are harvested. To avoid high temperatures and the resulting loss of freshness, the grapes are harvested at night. They are then taken directly to the winery, where the must is gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. After blending, the grapes are aged for an impressive 35 months.

The palate initially offers a fresh and balanced flavor. Creamy notes then emerge, creating a particularly pleasant mouthfeel. The finish brings everything together and is pleasantly long.
