From vineyard to bottle

The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A unique Lugana from the iconic Allegrini family, sourced from the exclusive Oasi Mantellina plot in Lombardy. This wine proves that Allegrini, renowned for its top wines in Valpolicella, also excels in white wine. The 2024 harvest was characterized by careful water management and intelligent climate monitoring, resulting in exceptionally healthy grapes with a distinctive aromatic profile.

The Oasi Mantellina vineyard is situated at an altitude of 100 meters in the heart of Lugana, with a southwesterly exposure and clay-rich soil. This combination creates both strength and elegance. The proximity of Lake Garda contributes to the coolness and significant temperature variations between day and night, enhancing the finesse and complexity of the aromas. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, guaranteeing rigorous selection and perfect ripeness.

Vinification takes place in a completely oxygen-free environment to prevent oxidation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a temperature of between 14 and 15°C, followed by four months of aging on the fine lees. After bottling, the wine rests in the bottle for another two months before release. This method ensures a pure expression of the terroir and a balanced structure.

Turbiana – Oasi Mantellina (96%)
The local pride of Lugana, with fresh acidity and subtle salty minerality.

Cortese – Oasi Mantellina (4%)
Gives the blend extra freshness, juiciness and a refined structure.

The Oasi Mantellina is Allegrini's own vineyard, perfectly positioned to produce fresh, aromatic Lugana wines that retain their structure. Thanks to modern techniques and traditional hand harvesting, this wine delivers a superb combination of terroir and technique. This wine proves that Allegrini lives up to its reputation as a top-tier estate in white wines as well.
