The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

Radio Boka, a wine label from the magnificent Hammeken Cellars winery, a wine producer renowned for crafting exceptional wines. With the Radio Boka line, Hammeken Cellars aimed to appeal to the modern wine drinker. With its innovative look and modern wines, they've more than succeeded. So much so, in fact, that even classic wine drinkers are increasingly appreciating Radio Boka's wines.

The vineyards for this white Verdejo wine are located in La Mancha, one of the most famous wine regions in Spain. The climate in this area is continental with long, warm summers. Perfect for producing delicious Verdejo wines, including this Radio Boka. The bushvine vineyards are situated on terraces at an altitude of between 500 and 1,000 meters. A perfect spot to soak up the wonderful warm rays of sunshine during the day and the fresh breeze that blows through the vineyards at night. Bushvine vineyards are vineyards where the vines are not trained. The grapes grow in "bunches," a technique that brings out the Verdejo grapes' strength and freshness. These vines have now reached the respectable age of 12 to 25 years, allowing the winemakers to infuse the grapes with character, and therefore the wine. When the Verdejo grapes reach perfect ripeness, they are harvested at night. The grapes are still "resting," making the skins more resistant to bruising and oxidation on their way to the winery. After vinification and bottling, this white Radio Boka is aged in the bottle for two months in the Radio Boka cellars, after which the wines are released.

Just looking at the bottle and its beautiful golden yellow color with a green sheen makes us want to try this white wine from Radio Boka. As soon as you smell the glass, all the beautiful aromas hit you: a refined, lively scent of gooseberry, passion fruit, lime, and green apple. But everything is so beautifully balanced, making it one of our most beloved wines! The taste is exquisite, and for this price point, it's unbelievable! You can really taste the Verdejo grape, plenty of tropical fruit, light minerals, green apples, and a hint of gooseberry. What a delicious white wine. It's no wonder this Radio Boka white is served as a house wine in many fine restaurants!
