A family business founded by Gaspare Indelicato in 1924 with the planting of their first vineyard, they now own several vineyards throughout California's wine regions. Woodhaven wines are primarily produced in the Central Valley, where the warm climate and fertile soil provide an excellent base for Zinfandel grapes, among other grapes. Woodhaven wines are all high quality yet affordably priced. Using sustainable and modern winemaking techniques, the wines are produced with passion and expertise. The Zinfandel grapes are grown in select locations in California. The warm climate and the nearby Pacific Ocean contribute perfectly to the grapes' long ripening process. The wine is produced using European winemaking techniques. Only a small amount of oak is used in this red wine, which preserves the fruity and floral aromas of the Zinfandel grapes. This distinguishes it from other Zinfandel wines, which are often smokier and spicier.
