Panamera Chardonnay

The Panamera Chardonnay is a creamy, oak-supported California Chardonnay for when you're craving a full-bodied white wine with ripe yellow fruit and a soft, broad attack. This style perfectly matches the Panamera signature, a winery that, under the leadership of Napa Valley winemaker Steve Rued, focuses on richness and finesse. The name refers to the Pan-American Highway, the route from Alaska to Argentina, instantly giving the brand that adventurous, broad character.

Its origin is broad at the appellation level, but clearly rooted in northern California.

• Location / Origin: The wine bears the California appellation and comes from the North Coast Area. This places it in the northern part of California, an overarching wine region above well-known names such as Napa Valley and Sonoma.
• Context: Due to its broad origin, this wine is less about one defined AVA and more about a recognizable Californian style with ripe fruit and sufficient suppleness.

The viticulture here is focused on fruit expression, roundness, and a beautifully integrated oak influence.

• Fermentation: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures. This preserves the fresh, pure fruit expression and supports the mineral character that Panamera seeks in this Chardonnay.
• Aging / Oak Maturation: This is followed by 6–8 months of oak aging, with 80% French barrels and additional American oak. This combination provides extra creaminess, vanilla notes, and a gentle spiciness, while the fruit remains beautifully prominent.
• Alcohol percentage: With 13% alcohol, the wine remains generous and round, without losing its lively character.

Panamera deliberately chooses a single grape here, so that the style remains immediately recognizable.

• Chardonnay – California: Chardonnay forms the complete base here and gives the wine its creamy attack, ripe fruit expression, and broad, mouth-filling style.
