The vineyards of Costers del Sio

The Costers del Sio winery is located in the municipality of Balaguer, in the Spanish province of Catalonia, approximately 150 kilometers west of the city of Barcelona. The winery owns a substantial 71 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are planted with a blend of both native and international grape varieties. Three grape varieties are used for La Boscana Red Costers del Sio: Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Syrah. This golden trio creates an unparalleled wine from Spain. To make La Boscana Red Costers del Sio truly special, the juice is lightly aged in oak after fermentation. It is aged for four months in a mix of American and French oak barrels.
