South Africa is known for two things: the Springbok and the Chenin Blanc grapes. These two powerhouses are combined in this white wine. The old Springbok vineyards are situated in a natural area abundant with springbok. This defines the landscape and creates an enchanting atmosphere. The Chenin Blanc vineyards are now mature and provide the winemaker with a beautifully ripe harvest. This is partly due to South Africa's perfect climate, with abundant sunshine and the refreshing mountain breeze that blows through the vineyards.

The Chenin Blanc grapes are given plenty of time to mature evenly. This gives the vines full, ripe bunches. After a long ripening period, the bunches are harvested at night to prevent oxidation and protect them during transport. The freshness preserved in the Chenin Blanc grape determines both the freshness and purity of the Springbok Chenin Blanc.

Yes, it's simply a joy to drink, and it all starts the moment you open the bottle. The fruit bursts forth. We discovered nuances of fresh gooseberries, passion fruit, and a touch of mint leaves. The aromas intensify as we pour this white wine. Initially, we notice a bright color with a green hue, making it truly pop from the glass. Beautiful aromas of grapefruit, lime peel, and some fresh white fruit. The palate is thirst-quenching, offering plenty of stimulation with notes of green apple, gooseberries, and lime peel. A touch of pear and a hint of grapefruit on the finish rounds it all out. This is Chenin Blanc as it was meant to be.
