It had a major impact on agriculture but ultimately provided a fresh start. They rediscovered their wines and invested in modern technologies. This led to a significant increase in the share of quality wines. Campania enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters. The hilly vineyards are located near Mount Vesuvius, which ensures the soil is very fertile. The region also boasts abundant clay and calcareous soil structures, making the terroir unique.
