This red wine from Bodega Salentein approaches perfection. It's the finest wine from this prestigious winery, founded in 1992 by Dutch entrepreneur Mijndert Pon. He commissioned the construction of a magnificent winery in Valle de Uco, a dazzling wine region at the foot of the Andes. The estate encompasses a whopping 2,000 hectares, 800 of which are planted with vines. Salentein Gran Vu Blend is Bodega Salentein's most exceptional wine. It has proven to everyone that this Argentinian winery belongs among the world's best.
The composition of Gran Vu Blend
Salentein Gran Vu Blend is a perfect blend of two well-known Argentinian grape varieties. Malbec (73%) plays a leading role, but don't underestimate the role of Cabernet Sauvignon (27%). The grapes are grown in the specialized vineyards of Bodega Salentein, of which the estate boasts many. The grapes are grown in La Pampa and El Oasis, two beautiful vineyards with a high limestone and rock content, which benefits the quality of the grapes. The grapes are fermented separately in 225-liter barrels. The wine is then blended and aged for a further 24 (!) months in new French oak.The prize winner from Bodega Salentein
