The third generation of the Zuccardi winery
The Zuccardi winery was founded in 1963 by Alberto Zuccardi in the Mendoza province of Argentina. It is one of the oldest and most respected wineries in Argentina, with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability. Alberto began growing grapes on a small farm in the Maipu region. As his business grew, he also began growing grapes in other parts of Mendoza, including Paraje Altamira. Thanks to his dedication to quality and technology, the company has become one of the most highly regarded wineries in Argentina. Today, the company is led by the third generation of Zuccardis, including Sebastián Zuccardi, who has helped the company develop into a major player in the Argentine wine industry. The Zuccardi Finca los Membrillos vinification process begins with the harvest of high-quality grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand and quickly brought to the winery to prevent oxidation. The grapes are then pressed, and the must is cooled to begin fermentation. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures to best preserve the fruity aromas and flavors of the grapes. After fermentation is complete, 50 percent of the wine is transferred to French oak barrels for aging.Enjoy the aromas of Zuccardi Finca los Membrillos
