Zuccardi is a renowned winery located in Argentina's beautiful Mendoza region. Since its founding in 1963, the Zuccardi family has dedicated itself to producing wines of exceptional quality that reflect the area's rich terroir. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, Zuccardi has distinguished itself as a pioneer in the Argentine wine industry. Their vineyards are situated at varying altitudes and soil types, resulting in wines with unique character and expression. From their iconic Malbec to their refined Chardonnay, every Zuccardi bottle tells a story and offers an unforgettable wine experience. In the enchanting Uco Valley, located in the Mendoza province, the Malbec vines ripen at an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level. At the winery, the process begins with the careful selection of the grapes, after which they are destemmed and crushed. Before fermentation begins, the grapes undergo a cold maceration. Fermentation takes place using indigenous yeasts, which reflect the natural characteristics of the grapes. For approximately 20 days, the must is carefully macerated on the skins, with the wine being regularly pumped over and separated from the skins. This process contributes to the wine's complexity and depth, while preserving the characteristic characteristics of the Malbec grape. After fermentation, a portion of the wine is transferred to French oak barrels, where it ages for 10 months.
