A delicious Italian wine made from 100% fresh Chardonnay grapes. The Chardonnay grapes are planted in higher-elevation vineyards, giving them a fresh, aromatic character. They are harvested only at peak ripeness. With a tropical character and a wonderfully full mouthfeel, this wine is incredibly elegant and versatile.

Wood aging for Feudo Arancio Chardonnay

On the coast of Sicily lie the vineyards of the Feudo Arancio winery. Over the years, they have grown into one of the country's leading wineries. In 2001, it was acquired by Mezzacorona and completely modernized. It is designed entirely in accordance with Sicilian traditions and with great respect for nature. Today, the latest and most modern techniques are used to vinify wine as effectively as possible. The team is young and dynamic, working with great passion and dedication in the winery. Where the winery was in need of renovation, the soil proved to be excellent. Therefore, they are still able to use old vines. This Chardonnay emphasizes freshness. Therefore, the wine is partially aged in old French oak, while the remainder remains unaged. The grapes are carefully harvested at peak ripeness and then taken directly to the winery. Here, the grapes are rigorously selected and gently pressed. The resulting must then undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

The smell and taste of Feudo Arancio Chardonnay

The Chardonnay emerges in the glass with a bright straw-yellow color. Close inspection reveals beautiful golden hues. The aromas are wonderfully fresh and fruity, with distinct notes of pineapple, tropical fruit, and light hints of vanilla. The palate is balanced and harmonious, with the fruity notes clearly present. The creaminess is complemented by a pleasant acidity, beautifully balancing the flavor. A perfect pairing with fresh vegetables, seafood, pasta dishes, or white meat dishes. All in all, a beautiful Italian wine that can also be enjoyed on its own.
