The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

A mouthwatering anniversary edition. Tommasi is celebrating its 120th anniversary! The winery isn't about to let this happen. A prestigious anniversary for one of Veneto's most respected wineries. To commemorate this milestone, Tommasi is releasing its flagship wine in a special edition: the Tommasi Amarone 120th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Veneto wines have become true stars of the past century. Previously, Piedmont and Tuscany were primarily renowned, but thanks to innovations in the Valpolicella vineyards, Veneto has become just as impressive. Amarone wines, in particular, have created a remarkable fan base. Amarone is a type of wine where the grapes are dried before being pressed. And one of the leading authorities on Amarone is the Tommasi winery.

Tommasi Winery was founded 120 years ago. In 1902, Giacomo Tommasi founded the winery in the hills of Verona. The third generation is now at the helm of the winery. Over its 120-year history, Tommasi has released many exceptional wines, all grown on the estate's 205 hectares of vineyards. Besides the classic Amarone—an all-time favorite among wine connoisseurs—Tommasi also produces other special wines, such as the iconic Ca'Florian Amarone.

With this Limited Edition Amarone wine, Tommasi demonstrates its strong position as an Amarone authority. Only 3,000 bottles of this Tommasi Amarone 120th Anniversary Limited Edition are available. Only a small portion is reserved for the Dutch market. You are undoubtedly holding a truly special wine. The porcelain label is handmade by Seletti, one of the finest producers of handmade tableware. A unique bottle of Amarone that showcases the power of the Tommasi winery to the entire wine world.

Only the very best grapes are used for this unique bottle. The finest bunches, full of Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella, are hand-picked to be included in this exquisite bottle of wine. The process of creating this unique bottle has been time-consuming, but it was more than worth every minute. As you take a sip, you're treated to the most beautiful flavors. Soft red fruit combined with dried strawberries. Subtle notes of the finest Balsamico di Modena. Soft peppers that add a slight tingle to the nose. Deep, dark dark chocolate that leaves a hint of bitterness on the tip of the tongue. In short: the very best Amarone from Valpolicella.
