When we talk about powerful yet velvety smooth, we can only be talking about the Delbeaux Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. This delicious red wine from Delbeaux is, as the name suggests, made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. These grapes originate from the Languedoc Rousillon region. This region produces approximately 80% of all Vin de Pays wines. The vines for this red wine are planted on chalky alluvial soil. This gives the Delbeaux its beautiful characteristics.

The harvest is carried out entirely by hand, ensuring a strict selection of the grapes suitable for this phenomenal wine. After this hand-picking, all bunches are carefully placed in small crates and transported to the press. The pressing is very gentle, ensuring only the purest juice is used in the final wine. This is reflected in the excellent taste. This red wine is aged in French oak barrels for seven months. The wine then continues to age in the bottle for several months before being released by the winemaker. Only when the wine is perfect will the winemaker give its approval.

We've certainly discovered that this wine is perfect. Upon uncorking and pouring, the intense ruby red color with a pleasant purple rim is immediately noticeable. Almost regal in its beauty! The aroma offers a wide array of black cherries, currants, and blackberries, harmoniously balanced by a touch of spice and vanilla. The palate is velvety smooth without losing its flavor or power. Wonderfully pleasant nuances of blackberries, plums, and cherries, as well as spice, vanilla, and a light touch of chocolate. The finish is full, rounded, and smooth with subtle tannins. This Delbeaux Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is also perfect with delicious dishes like chicken and pork.
