Say Argentina, and you say Malbec. It's Argentina's native grape variety. This grape thrives particularly in the renowned Mendoza wine region, bordering the Andes. It's partly thanks to this wine region that Malbec is now world-famous. The grapes for Luca Old Vine Malbec are a blend of grapes from various wine regions. Both the La Consulta and Valle de Uco regions provide grapes for this fantastic wine from the Luca winery. The vineyards in La Consulta are situated at a lower elevation, which gives the wine its accessibility. The vineyards in the Uco Valley are the highest in all of Mendoza. This gives the wine complexity and depth.
