It's partly thanks to this wine region that Malbec is now world-famous. The grapes for Luca Old Vine Malbec are a blend of grapes from various wine regions. Both the La Consulta and Valle de Uco regions provide grapes for this fantastic wine from the Luca winery. The vineyards in La Consulta are situated at a lower elevation, which gives the wine its accessibility. The vineyards in the Uco Valley are the highest in all of Mendoza. What does Luca Old Vine Malbec taste like?

Open a bottle and let the fun begin: The nose is incredible, with abundant spicy notes. But black fruit, red cherries, and chocolate are also part of the aroma. The 12 months of oak aging give the wine its complex character. You can clearly taste the berries on your palate, along with spices and chocolate. If you take another sip (and you'll want to!), you'll also discover a hint of leather and coffee in the background. The finish is incredibly long. It's as if your mouth hasn't parted with this fantastic glass of wine.
