Invidious Tempranillo Syrah

For this top-notch red wine, we travel to Spain, specifically to Castilla La Mancha. There, Invidious's old vines are filled with Tempranillo and Syrah grapes. The winery was founded by two brothers born in Denmark who had the idea to start their own winery. After a long search, they found happiness in warm Spain. Both brothers already had a considerable reputation as winemakers and had traveled the world. You don't need to explain anything to them about making wine, and you can certainly taste that in this red Invidious wine.

The brothers are proud of the old vineyard! Because it yields the perfect bunches, full of strength and richness. But before that happens, they've worked hard in the vineyards. The climate plays a crucial role in the grapes' development. The many hours of sunshine give the grapes their strength and refinement, but the cool weather is also important for even growth. Once the grapes are ripe, they are harvested early in the morning. According to the brothers, this is crucial to protect the grapes during transport.

Full and very powerful this Invidious Tempranillo Syrah

Once all the grapes have been harvested, the blend is made. This red wine is made up of 70 percent Tempranillo, with the remainder complemented by the powerful Syrah. This proves to be a perfect balance, as this red wine is full-bodied and very smooth. As soon as the bottle is opened, we immediately smell a refined aroma of black fruit with hints of spice. In the glass, we see a deep purple color and powerful aromas of plums, cherries, and some exotic spices. The palate is soft on the palate with plenty of black fruit, and the soft tannins give this red Invidious wine great depth. The finish reveals light spices, a touch of black pepper, and ripe cherries and plums.
