A special glass of red wine, made from the somewhat unknown Marselan grape. Only you know what they say: what you don't know, you don't love. Because once you've discovered the Marselan in this Eclat de Rubis, you'll never want anything else. This red wine is produced by the illustrious Bourdic winery. Based in Nîmes, it operates in no fewer than 10 communes in the region. It's an intensive collaboration of no fewer than 100 professional winegrowers. This sustainable partnership gives them not only a vast array of grapes but also a wealth of in-house expertise.

The vineyards full of Marselan

Marselan is a relatively unknown grape. And that's not surprising. While many grape varieties have a history spanning many centuries, Marselan only became widely planted in the 1990s. It's a blend of two typical French grape varieties: Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. Slowly but surely, Marselan is starting to win over consumers. More and more wine drinkers are discovering this gem. It's primarily grown in the Languedoc, primarily because of its climate. It thrives in warmth and plenty of sunshine, combined with a fresh breeze at night. These conditions are especially found in the Bourdic vineyards, as they are just a stone's throw from the Mediterranean Sea.

The first thing you notice about Eclat de Rubis Marselan is the sheer amount of color it possesses. This is also one of the qualities of a Marselan grape. This wine is also one of the newest in the Bourdic range, but it's already impressing many wine drinkers. Our oenologists are also big fans of this Eclat de Rubis. The aroma is a balanced combination of robust fruit and a hint of caramel. The taste is sensational. As soon as you take a sip, a velvety wine unfolds that tickles your taste buds. You'll taste blackcurrant, blackberry, cassis, and a hint of jam. Incredibly intense and utterly delicious.
