But we quickly realized the Vina San Juan winery is part of Félix Solís, one of the kings of Spanish winemaking. Spain at its finest! As soon as you open a bottle of Vina San Juan, you're instantly transported to authentic Spain. The rolling yet rugged landscape, picturesque villages with bustling squares, where local Spaniards enjoy typical regional products. Spanish life is romanticized with a sip of red Vina San Juan. A golden trio
Vina San Juan comes from the Felix Solis winery, established in the early 1950s. After nearly 70 years, the craftsmanship is evident. The winery is known for its approachability while maintaining its Spanish character. For this wine, they used Tempranillo, a Spanish high-flyer, along with Merlot and Syrah, grapes originally from France that also thrive in Spain. The Tempranillo gives Vina San Juan the necessary strength and spice, while the Merlot and Syrah ensure the wine is rounded and never heavy or intense.
