The Croix d'Or Syrah Rosé is so wonderfully fresh and fruity! This beautiful winery is nestled in the heart of the Pays d'Oc wine region and selected a special vineyard for this rosé, growing Syrah grapes. The Croix family wanted to create a powerful rosé with the finesse of Provence. And they more than succeeded, as the grapes grow in a warm Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunshine and the perfect cooling breeze. The cool wind blows over the mountains, resulting in a long and peaceful growing season. We taste and smell all of this in this beautiful Croix d'Or Syrah Rosé.

The Syrah harvest

The Syrah grape ripens very late, so it's harvested at the perfect time. At peak ripeness, the grapes are harvested at night and early morning to preserve as much freshness as possible. Upon arrival at the Croix d'Or press, the grapes are sorted on sorting tables to select the best bunches. Direct pressing with light skin contact follows to achieve the beautiful, light color.

A soft, supple, and fruity rosé from France—that's what this rosé is all about. The wine has a beautiful color and is full-bodied with a light red shimmer. The aroma is fresh and fruity with hints of blueberries and hints of wildflowers. Very pleasant flavor nuances of raspberries and strawberries. The elegant, mildly dry finish completes the experience, and it's no wonder many restaurants offer this rosé as a house wine. It's wonderful on the terrace in the sunshine, but you can also pair this rosé with dishes like fresh salads, tuna, and light meat dishes.
