The grapes enjoyed a warm climate with plenty of sunshine and a cooling mountain breeze, which ensured even ripening. The harvest took place at night to maintain maximum freshness and prevent oxidation.

This Springbok rosé is a true powerhouse, serving so much in restaurants and bars. Its name, Springbok, comes from the abundance of Springboks found in the vineyards. This contributes to the landscape, which is truly phenomenal. This rosé is made from a blend of various grapes available to Springbok. The varieties are selected annually to ensure consistent quality. However, the rosé has one main source: the Pinotage grape, which contributes to the ripe aromas and flavors and the beautiful light pink color.

The harvest for the Springbok wines

The grapes grow in a warm and refined climate, ensuring a top-notch harvest. The sun can do its work, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. The fresh mountain breeze that blows across the vineyards cools the bunches. This coolness is crucial for maintaining sufficient freshness in the grapes. And yes, we taste this in this Springbok rosé. All the grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness, and oxidation is also prevented. The result is stunning, and at this price! What does Springbok Rose taste like?

As with every rosé, the fruit bursts from the bottle as soon as you open it. This Springbok rosé is no exception! After opening the bottle, we smelled abundant red fruit, including strawberry, raspberry, and cherry. These aromas intensified in the glass, revealing a light pink color with red highlights. All the aromas were released in the glass. We also detected hints of mint, grapefruit, and raspberry. The palate is light and refined with just the right amount of acidity. Wonderfully fresh on the palate, accompanied by a rich red fruit and light citrus notes. A wine that makes the sun shine in the glass!
