From vineyard to bottle

The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

The Rapeneau family champagne house stands out as one of the largest families to own Champagne vineyards. For over four generations, tradition, passion, and experience have been passed down. And every single one of their champagnes comes from the Epernay region, the region where these famous champagnes are produced today. This salmon-pink Brut Rosé is a perfect example, made from a beautiful blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Red Wine.

In 1901, Ernest Rapeneau founded his own winery in the village of Hautvillers. It wasn't until 1927, however, that Ernest finally focused on producing Champagnes. And that choice proved to be an excellent one. He carefully selected his wines and significantly improved the quality of his business. He was a true Champagne connoisseur, and that was clearly reflected in his Champagnes. Rapeneau's personality is primarily based on that of the founder and his descendants: everyone has been able to find their own place within this family business. For four generations, everyone's goal has been to preserve, perpetuate, adapt, and improve a priceless traditional heritage. The ripe, fresh, high-quality grapes are harvested entirely by hand. During the vinification process, the wine is produced according to the traditional Champagne method. Finally, the final champagne is aged for several months. Everything is designed to produce a fine bubble and a fresh, rich character.

Just looking at this Rapeneau Rosé in the glass is a feast for the eyes. A beautiful salmon pink color with lovely sparkling bubbles. The aromas immediately greet you. Floral aromas with a distinct hint of rose. Cherries also emerge, complemented by light spicy notes. The palate is wonderfully fresh with delicate acidity that creates a beautiful balance. A friendly and, above all, delicious Rosé champagne.
