As the name suggests, this wine reflects the authenticity of the Roussillon region. Three characteristic grape varieties—Carignan (50%), Syrah (40%), and Grenache (10%)—create a beautiful blend. The Syrah provides the necessary power, while the Carignan and Grenache lend fruit and aroma to Lafage Authentique Cotes du Roussillon. After vinification, 20% of the juice is lightly aged in oak for at least 10 months. This gives Lafage Authentique Cotes du Roussillon a little more power.
