This wine comes from a vineyard situated at an altitude of 220 meters, on granite subsoil. The vines here are a full 45 years old and produce grapes of exceptional quality. At Domaine Anita, great care is taken during the grape harvest. They are hand-picked and then carefully selected in the vineyard, ensuring only the finest grapes are used for the wine. A specific vinification technique is used. The grapes are placed in a closed vat, where they are lightly crushed and begin to ferment. This gives the wine a fruity character and a smooth taste. After fermentation, the wine is aged for six months in cement tanks and then for a further four months in the bottle.
The result is a seductive wine with a ruby red color. The nose is rich in floral notes and elegant aromas. Red fruits such as raspberries and strawberries are clearly present. The palate is fruity and lively, with hints of raspberries, strawberries, blackcurrants, and rhubarb, followed by earthy and spicy notes. The refreshing acidity provides a beautiful balance and makes this wine ideal as an accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes, from roasted poultry to lightly spiced fish dishes.
