Traditional Cavas from Flama d'Or

Castell d'Or's Cavas are the result of over a hundred years of dedicated work by this wine cooperative. Their goal is to create Cavas that reflect the essence of the land. They use traditional methods to develop each Cava rich in flavors and aromas. The Flama d'Or label depicts a vine rising from the earth like a fiery flame. This image symbolizes the origins of the grapes, their deep roots in the soil, and their potential to develop into diverse varietals. When these different grape varieties are combined, unique and extraordinary wines and Cavas are created. Flama d'Or Cava Semi Sec is produced with exceptional care and craftsmanship using the traditional methods characteristic of Cava. The process begins with the meticulous harvest. The grapes are selectively picked to ensure the highest quality. The bottles are then stored in underground cellars, where a constant temperature is maintained and the wines remain in contact with their yeast. This Cava is classified as "Cava de Guarda" and matures in the bottle for over 12 months, with a second fermentation to obtain the characteristic bubbles.
