For the production of Feuerheerds Fine White Port, the grapes are rigorously selected after harvest. Only the finest juice is good enough. After maceration, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. This young port from Portugal is then aged for another twelve months in oak barrels.
This Fine White Port from Feuerheerd's is pleasantly sweet. Its color is golden yellow with a slight green shimmer. The aroma is magnificent! Delightful aromas of white fruit, honey, and peaches. The taste is pleasantly sweet, but certainly not too sweet. Delicious nuances of peach, apricot, and honey. The finish is sultry, refreshing, yet delightfully sweet. This port is best enjoyed slightly chilled. Want to try something different with a white port? Try a large glass with some white port, tonic water, and fresh white fruit.
