The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

White port is made from fourteen legally recommended grape varieties, including Codega, Malvasia Fina, and other traditional Douro grape varieties. The young port is partially aged in used oak port pipes. This port is aged for three years in wooden barrels, including a short period in oak.

Golden port wine is a blend of the Arinto, Codega, Rabigato, and Viosinhox grape varieties. Port wines generally always refer to red ports. In recent years, however, white varieties have also become increasingly popular. Thanks to the careful selection of the most suitable grape varieties, white ports have achieved remarkable quality and are becoming increasingly popular. In the Ramos Pinto Porto White, the Viosinho gives the wine considerable body and depth of aroma, Rabigato provides freshness and acidity, Arinto a fine minerality and elegance, and finally, Codega ripe fruit and ample volume.

Porto is the incredibly romantic region where the Pinto White Port vines grow, producing a delicious port wine that captivates all the senses with its sun-yellow shimmer in the glass. The aroma of figs, honey, fruit, and smoky nuances is delightfully seductive. On the palate, you sense the balanced fruit and an exquisite sweetness, transforming into a velvety experience with a round and harmonious structure. Ramos Pinto White Port is best enjoyed chilled. White Port is a delicious aperitif that pairs perfectly with appetizers like fruit and nuts. White Port is also the perfect complement to cheese. With desserts like oven-fresh strudel, Ramos Pinto White Port is a fantastic experience. This gives this Ramos Pinto White a somewhat complex flavor, featuring a blend of lemon aromas with hints of honey and almond. Some resinous notes can be detected, along with a rich buttery flavor on the palate. Dry on the palate, it immediately reveals a taste of fresh fruit.
