The origin, grapes and craftsmanship behind this wine.

The flagship wine of the Sartori winery, the king's wine of Italy, the absolute best in the world. We were at a loss for superlatives when we first discovered this wine. And what a discovery it is! A red wine to instantly fall in love with. Our oenologists offer a warning: one sip of Sartori Amarone Corte Bra will make this your new favorite.

Pietro Sartori, the founder of this Italian winery, purchased a small vineyard in the Valpolicella region in 1898. He owned a hotel and wanted his guests to pour their own wine. Now, over 120 years later, Sartori has grown into an impressive winery with vineyards in all the well-known Classico zones in northern Italy. It is a true pioneer in winemaking. Its greatest pride is this Sartori Amarone Corte Bra, a wine that seems to improve every year. This red wine competes at the highest level in Italian winemaking.

This beautiful red Italian wine has been a great success for the Sartori winery. Thanks in part to Sartori Amarone Corte Bra, the winery has grown into a serious international player. A whopping 80% of the wines produced are exported, a large portion to the United States. But Sartori wines aren't just popular overseas. We in Europe are also big fans of these wines. Sartori Amarone Corte Bra is the flagship wine, and as soon as you open the beautiful bottle, you'll immediately know why. The aroma is fabulous. Elegance and class reign supreme. You smell so many rich notes, such as dried, port-like fruit, jams, cherries, but also coconut and refined oak tones. The moment you put Sartori Amarone Corte Bra to your mouth, you'll be in seventh heaven. A flavor palette bursting with ripe fruit, spices, coconut, and tobacco will make the corners of your mouth curl upward. Undoubtedly your new favorite wine.
